K-pop singer Rosé has released her first solo studio album, ‘Rosie’, addressing a toxic ex who she claims “fucked up” and delivering scathing lyrics about their relationship. The 27-year-old Blackpink member drew from personal experience when writing the album’s tracks, which include a music video for the song “toxic till the end”. According to Rosé, the stories in her album are based on experiences shared with many people around her, and she says it was time to put them into words. The album is now available.
