Comedian and actress Rosie O’Donnell has revealed that her feud with former US President Donald Trump began 20 years ago when she spoke out about his business practices and accused him of lying on reality TV show “The Apprentice.”
O’Donnell said that since then, Trump has been angry with her and often uses her as a punchline in an attempt to belittle others. The incident occurred when Trump hosted Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin at the White House earlier this month.
During their meeting, a reporter asked Trump about O’Donnell’s move to Ireland, saying she might “lower his happiness levels.” Trump responded by thanking the question and later asking if Martin was familiar with O’Donnell.
After receiving a negative response, Trump told Martin he was “better off” not knowing who O’Donnell is. O’Donnell said she was mortified by the exchange and reached out to Martin for an apology.
