Pop artist Roy Lichtenstein’s estate, located on Gin Lane in Southampton Village, has seen a significant price cut of $2 million, from $19.95 million to $17.95 million. The 1.9-acre property, which includes a 19th-century main home and an attached studio, was put up for sale by Lichtenstein’s estate following his wife Dorothy’s passing in July 2024.
The historic home, built in 1897, spans 5,825 square feet and features three brick patios and a double-decker rooftop terrace. The property also boasts perennial gardens and ocean views from four of its five bedrooms. The standalone studio, where Lichtenstein worked on his iconic pop art pieces, has remained untouched throughout the years.
The estate was once part of the 10-acre Meadow Beach estate and underwent several expansions under the Lichtensteins’ stewardship. The property is now being marketed by Harald Grant and Bruce Grant of Sotheby’s International Realty – Southampton Brokerage.
