Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have released their annual holiday card, featuring a rare photo of their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The card includes three photographs: one of the royal couple welcoming their kids as they run towards them, two other shots showcasing Harry and Meghan during various trips, and another picture of a young child that has not been identified.
Archie was born in 2019 at the age of 5, while Lilibet, now 3 years old, welcomed her younger sibling last year. The holiday card features Archie and Lilibet’s faces obscured, but still provides a glimpse into their lives.
The royal couple used a green background for their card and included a heartfelt message wishing friends and family a “very happy holiday season and a joyful new year.” This marks the first time they have shared photos of their children in their Christmas card.
In contrast, King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s recent release showed a previously seen photo of the two taken at Buckingham Palace. Prince William and Princess Kate also sent out holiday cards this year, with their 2023 offering featuring a black-and-white family portrait of the couple with their three kids.
A challenging year has affected several members of the royal family, including Queen Camilla’s battle against cancer. During a recent Christmas concert, the queen shared her difficult experience and acknowledged that “lots of people this year have had such challenging times.”
