Rumer Willis is giving fans an update on her father, Bruce Willis, as he celebrates his 70th birthday. In a Q&A session on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Willis replied to a fan’s question about the status of her father’s health. He was diagnosed with aphasia in 2022 and later developed frontotemporal dementia.
Willis stated that her dad is “doing great” and thanked fans for their concern. He also asked his daughter to wish him a happy birthday on his special day tomorrow.
In an interview on British talk show “Loose Women” last month, Willis expressed gratitude for her blended family dynamic with parents Bruce and Demi Moore. She praised the way they prioritized their daughters’ well-being even when their relationship ended.
Willis shared that she feels deep gratitude for the example her parents set for her and her sisters, Scout and Tallulah. Despite their split, they maintained a strong family bond, and Willis credits them with teaching her to prioritize love over conflict.
