Apple has confirmed the rumored launch of a new iPhone SE, with known leaker Evan Blass sharing evidence that suggests the device will feature a Dynamic Island instead of a notch. The latest leak also mentions the iPhone SE (4th Gen) in source code, casting doubt on previous speculation about an “iPhone 16E” name.
The rumored features for the new iPhone SE include a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, a USB-C port, and improved camera capabilities. Analysts predict that Apple will release the device around March or April 2025, just like previous models.
In contrast to the older iPhone SE models, which featured outdated features such as Touch ID and thick bezels, the new device is expected to have a more modern design with improved performance and pricing that may start at $429. Meanwhile, rumors also suggest that Apple will release new iPad Air and entry-level iPad 11 models later this year, possibly around March or April.
