Russia has launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using more than 300 drones and over 30 missiles, resulting in at least one death and six injuries, including a child. The strikes targeted multiple regions, including Odesa, Kherson, and Sumy, causing significant damage to critical infrastructure.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the attacks occurred overnight on Friday into Saturday morning, affecting several areas across the country. The attacks left at least one person dead and six others injured in the southern port city of Odesa.
Zelenskyy also stated that critical infrastructure was damaged in Sumy, leaving thousands of families without power. In addition, a residential building and critical infrastructure were damaged in Pavlohrad, the eastern city of Dnipropetrovsk region.
The Ukrainian president warned that “target elimination is still ongoing — drones remain in the air,” as rescue operations are underway following the attack.
