The Ukrainian Air Force said the attack was predominantly targeted at residential areas, destroying buildings and setting garages on fire. Ruslan Stefanchuk, the head of Ukraine’s parliament, described the attack as “terror in its purest form.”
Meanwhile, Russian forces have been engaging in shelling activities, including killing one person and injuring eight in the Donetsk region. The talks between Russia and Ukraine, which were held in Turkey, failed to produce a major breakthrough.
