A mass Russian drone attack has left four people dead, 19 injured, and sparked a large fire in a hotel and restaurant complex in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro. According to regional governor Serhiy Lysak, over 20 drones were directed towards the city, with most being downed by Ukrainian forces.
The attack also caused significant damage, including a high-rise apartment building and nearly 10 private homes catching fire. Firefighting crews managed to bring the blaze under control, but three of the injured are in serious condition.
Pictures and videos posted online show the destruction caused by the attack, with flames, smoke, and shattered buildings visible. Reuters has independently verified the incident’s location and date.
