Russia’s Missile Assault on Ukraine Reaches Record Levels

Russia has increased its missile strikes on Ukraine to record-breaking levels, leaving the country’s air defenses struggling to cope. Just a year ago, 30 drones striking Ukraine in one night was considered exceptional. However, on May 25th, Russia launched a massive strike featuring 298 drones and 69 missiles, a significant escalation of previous attacks.

This surge in missile activity has left Ukrainian air-defense units rationing their interceptors, which could lead to more strikes reaching towns, cities, and critical industries if the current ceasefire talks fail. The situation is becoming increasingly uncertain, with experts warning that Russia’s aggression could have serious consequences for Ukraine’s future.

As tensions continue to rise, European leaders are bracing themselves for potential fallout from Russia’s actions. The crisis in Ukraine serves as a reminder of the ongoing global implications of Russia’s involvement and the need for effective diplomatic solutions to address this pressing issue.
