Samsung has announced that it will start rolling out its One UI 7 update on April 7th, with the initial rollout targeted at select devices including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6. However, this update is not a straightforward process as it will be rolled out gradually to other devices.

However, despite the positive news, concerns remain about the timing of the update, particularly with regards to Android 16’s release date. Additionally, Samsung has not yet confirmed a timeline for updating the recently discovered vulnerability CVE-2024-50302, which poses a risk to phone security.
As a result, users are advised to apply all available updates as soon as possible to ensure their device is protected against known attacks and exploits. The update schedule may be subject to change, but it’s essential to prioritize phone security and take prompt action when new updates become available.
