Samsung Delays One UI 7.0 Update, Skips Incremental Patch

Samsung’s update to One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 for the Galaxy S24 series and older has faced multiple delays. The company is reportedly focusing on fixing issues with its upcoming Galaxy S25 phones’ software instead of releasing incremental patches. This means Samsung may skip a planned One UI 7.1 update.

The delayed One UI 7.0 release is not unique to the flagship series. Samsung’s foldable phones, including the new Galaxy Fold7 and Flip7, are expected to ship with an older version of the software, One UI 7.0.1. However, some users can still look forward to receiving the stable One UI 7.0 update on their older Galaxies.

Initially planned for April, Samsung now plans to release the One UI 7.0 update alongside its Galaxy S25 Edge announcement. Despite the delays, Samsung is expected to continue providing software support for its devices in the coming months.
