Samsung Galaxy A56 Leak Reveals Budget Phone Design and Specs

A leaked set of 360-degree renders from veteran tipster Evan Blass has given us a glimpse into Samsung’s next budget phone, the Galaxy A56. The renders show four color options – pink, black, grey/green, and silver – and confirm the phone’s design will be similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy A55.

The phone is expected to feature a flat display, flat sides, and raised power and volume buttons. However, unlike the current models, it will have a single long stadium-shaped camera unit on the back instead of separate lenses for the front-facing and rear cameras.

In terms of internal specs, the Galaxy A56 is rumored to be powered by an Exynos 1580 chipset with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The phone will also boast a 120Hz AMOLED screen, aluminum sides, and a glass back.

The camera system will feature a 50 MP main lens, 12MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro lenses on the rear, while a new 12MP selfie camera will be used instead of the current model. The phone is expected to have a 5,000 mAh battery with support for up to a 45W charger.

This leak comes at an interesting time, as Samsung’s budget-friendly options are set to face competition from Google’s Pixel 9a and Apple’s new iPhone SE 4 in the coming months.
