Samsung has officially confirmed that its highly anticipated flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25, will launch on January 22. A leaked poster advertising the event lists this date as the launch day, which is consistent with previous reports and rumors.
The leak also appears to show an ‘X’ shape formed by what seems to be the corners of four phones. While some have speculated that the ‘X’ could be a reference to Samsung’s digital assistant, Bixby, getting a major AI upgrade for the Galaxy S25, it’s possible that this is simply a marketing gimmick.
The leak suggests that the launch event will feature not only the standard Galaxy S25 but also its larger and ultra-wide variants, the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra. The fourth phone, if one exists, is unclear, with rumors pointing to the S25 Slim or FE models. However, these seem unlikely to be part of the initial lineup.
Leaked images of the S25 Plus have also surfaced, showing a design that’s largely similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Plus. The camera lenses are darker in color, and the phone features three lenses on the back, a flat screen, and curved corners.
The official colors for every model, as leaked by Evan Blass, include a range of options such as Blue Black, Coral Red, Icy Blue, Mint, Navy, Pink Gold, and Silver Shadow for the standard and Plus models. The S25 Ultra will be available in seven different titanium-based color options.
While these leaks are not officially confirmed by Samsung, they do provide some insight into what to expect from the upcoming Galaxy S25 lineup. With the launch date now set, fans can look forward to getting their hands on these highly anticipated devices soon.
