Samsung has leaked promo materials for its upcoming Galaxy S25 lineup, potentially revealing key specs and AI features that will be available in the new flagship Android devices.
The leaked images show the Galaxy S25 Plus, which is expected to have similar features as the entry-level Galaxy S25. The camera specs include a 50MP main camera with 2x zoom, coupled with a 10MP telephoto with 3x zoom and a 12MP ultrawide lens. These specs are unchanged from the Galaxy S24 Plus.
The Ultra images reveal a potential upgrade to the S25 Ultra’s ultrawide lens, listing a 50MP sensor for that camera. The remaining rear cameras will feature a 200MP main camera and two telephoto lenses with a 5x optical zoom and a 3x optical zoom.
In terms of battery life, the S25 Plus has a 4,900 mAh capacity with up to 30 hours of video watching, while the Ultra offers a slightly bigger 5,000 mAh battery with 31 hours of video watching.
The leaked materials also hint at new AI features, including “Now Brief,” which uses AI to create personalized summaries for users. The tool will offer three different versions: morning brief, commute summary, and evening brief.
Additionally, the images suggest that Samsung’s One UI 7 software will include an integration with Google Gemini, a new assistant that works like Hey Google. Gemini will be able to read content for users while interacting with apps like YouTube and Samsung Notes.
Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S25 lineup next week at its January 22 Galaxy Unpacked event. The company has already offered incentives for pre-orders, including a $50 credit towards new purchases and up to $900 in credits available for trading in old devices.
