Samsung has confirmed that pre-orders for its new Galaxy S25 family will open on January 24th and run through February 3rd. The pre-orders are expected to be available after a two-day wait following the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is scheduled to take place on January 22nd.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra, along with its smaller counterparts, the S25 and S25+, will likely be part of the initial release wave. However, Samsung has not yet announced a fourth model in the lineup, sparking speculation about a potential “Special Edition” variant that may be released later this year.
Details on the upcoming phone’s design suggest that it will retain the same camera island and port placement as its predecessor, while boasting redesigned corners with increased internal volume. As for pre-order offers, Samsung typically provides incentives to those who purchase their phones before the official launch, such as upgraded storage or discounts on accessories.
While no official details have been released about the Galaxy S25 Special Edition, Samsung’s preparations suggest that it is indeed in development. The company has populated its GSMA IMEI database with references to four Galaxy S25 models, including one that appears to be a mid-tier variant between the S25+ and S25 Ultra.
