Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy S25 series, addressing security concerns. The update brings security fixes to the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models.
The updated bootloader version 4 on these devices now matches those in the latest internal One UI 8 beta builds. This means Samsung can roll out the second One UI 8 beta update publicly, without worrying about compatibility issues with earlier firmware versions.
As of now, the update is available in Korea, and it will likely reach other markets soon. The update is identified by a build number ending with AYE5.
Users can download the update by navigating to their phone’s Settings app, selecting Software update, and tapping Download and install. This brings the bootloader version in line with the latest beta builds, paving the way for smoother updates moving forward.
Note: To rollback to One UI 7 without issues, users who install the second beta update will be able to do so due to the matching bootloader versions.
