A new report contradicts previous rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be more expensive than its predecessor. According to sources, prices for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in Northern Europe will remain the same as their S24 counterparts.
The report specifically cites Swedish prices of SEK 11,490 (approximately EUR 899) for the 128GB model, SEK 14,490 (approximately EUR 1,149) for the 256GB model, and SEK 17,990 (approximately EUR 1,449) for the 256GB Ultra model. If true, this means that Samsung will offer a launch promo with a free storage upgrade, making the prices equivalent to those of the S25 models with 256GB and 512GB storage.
The Galaxy S25 series brings minor upgrades, including a new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is an improvement over the Exynos 2400 used in previous models. The smaller S-phone will receive 12GB of RAM, while larger models may get up to 16GB in some configurations. The S25 Ultra gains a new 50MP ultra-wide camera, although other cameras remain unchanged.
In terms of battery and charging options, there are no major changes planned unless the rumor about Qi2 wireless charging support proves true.
The report adds that this news is a welcome change for Samsung fans who were concerned about price increases.
