Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Expected to Offer Advanced Features and Improved Performance

Samsung is gearing up to launch its latest flagship, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which promises to build on the success of last year’s model. The upcoming device will likely feature improved performance, enhanced display capabilities, and advanced camera technology.

According to leaked benchmark tests, the Galaxy S25 family will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, replacing the Exynos 2500 chipset that was expected for certain territories. This change is reportedly due to technical limitations in South Korea’s working hours, which led to a delay in the development of the Exynos 2500 chipset.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra will boast an improved display with Corning’s second-generation Gorilla Glass Armour, providing enhanced protection and visibility. The device’s camera system will also see significant upgrades, including an increased sensor size for the ultrawide camera, allowing for more detailed photography and 8K recording.

One of the most exciting features to be highlighted is the integration of Google’s Gemini Advanced software suite, which will be offered as a three-month trial on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This offer is even more generous than what is available on the Pixel 9 Pro, with the S25 Ultra receiving a one-year trial period.

Another feature that has garnered significant attention is the potential inclusion of car crash detection software, which was present in last year’s Galaxy S24 Ultra but remained dormant due to software limitations. The latest beta code suggests that this feature may finally be activated on the new device.

Additionally, Samsung has been working on satellite connectivity for its Galaxy handsets, and it is expected to make a significant push with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. With pre-orders opening shortly after the launch event, fans are eagerly awaiting more information about this highly anticipated device.

Samsung is set to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22nd 2025, marking the official release of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and other devices in the lineup.
