Samsung Galaxy S26 Batteries Have Reduced Charge Cycles

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series has faced a surprise downgrade in battery health, according to leaked EU labels. The devices will only last 80% capacity after 1,200 charge cycles, down from the previous model’s 2,000 cycles. However, the new batteries are more energy-efficient and have shown longer battery life in standard tests, lasting up to 55 hours compared to the previous models’ 43.5-45 hours. The exact performance of the S26 series will be revealed at Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event.
