A recent report by GalaxyClub has shed light on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s telephoto camera, providing more insight into its capabilities. According to the publication, one of the phone’s telephoto cameras will have a 50MP resolution and offer 5x optical zoom.
This periscope telephoto unit is similar to the one used in last year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra. The report also notes that the second telephoto camera on the S26 Ultra was expected to feature a 200MP sensor, but this has yet to be confirmed by multiple reliable sources.
The primary camera of the Galaxy S26 series is expected to have a variable aperture, although no further details have been released. Samsung’s upcoming flagship is scheduled to arrive in January 2026, and we can expect more information about its cameras as launch approaches.
