Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Family Leaked Ahead of Unpacked Event

Samsung’s Unpacked event is just weeks away, and a new leak from Evan Blass has provided the best look yet at the upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 family. The leaked images show near-final, official-looking renders for the Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025).

The Samsung-designed smartwatch boasts familiar features such as circular displays, buttons, microphones, health sensors, and a signature ‘squircle’ design reminiscent of last year’s Galaxy Watch Ultra. However, this year’s base model Watch 8 takes a slightly more subtle approach, while the more premium Galaxy Watch 8 Classic adopts the Ultra’s style with no holds barred.

The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is expected to draw controversy due to its bulkier design, resembling a less-rugged take on the Ultra. In contrast, the new Galaxy Watch Ultra retains its top-tier wearable’s look with minimal changes, except for a switch from orange to navy band colors. The Ultra’s silver-and-blue combination appears attractive and may help differentiate it from Apple Watch Ultra comparisons.

Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 at Unpacked. Evan Blass shared renders of the Flip 7 and its FE version, showcasing various color options, including some vibrant and less-so-vibrant choices.
