Samsung fans are eagerly awaiting news about the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7, but recent rumors suggest that the design might remain largely unchanged from its predecessor. According to unofficial renders shared by OnLeaks and Android Headlines, the new foldable phone is expected to have a similar tall folding inner screen and cover screen as the current-gen Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The renders show an enlarged inner display with a larger 6.8-inch screen compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s 6.7 inches, but the cover screen size remains unchanged at 3.6 inches. The camera system appears similar, with colored rings instead of black housings like on the Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6.
While the designs seem almost identical, it’s worth noting that this could be due to the source choosing not to reveal their identity. Despite the lack of concrete details, it seems unlikely that Samsung would ignore its foldable phone portfolio entirely, especially considering the successful design of the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Even with a similar design, an improved user experience, software, and internal specs could still make the Galaxy Z Flip 7 a contender for best folding phones or best Samsung phones. The question remains: what do you want to see from Samsung’s next flip phone?
