Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Leaks Reveal Thinner, Sleeker Design

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been given a significant design upgrade. Leaked hands-on photos show the device to be thinner and sleeker than its predecessor. The images, posted by leaker @Jukanlosreve, depict the device from various angles.

The phone features a larger, slimmer chassis that measures around 4.5mm thick when open, making it narrower than the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s 5.6mm. This design change allows Samsung to compete more effectively with other slim foldables on the market. The SIM tray appears to occupy all available vertical space, further contributing to the device’s slender profile.

The rear camera array has been redesigned, featuring slim silver rings around the camera lenses instead of chunky black ones. This change is paired with a striking blue color option that might be the “Blue Shadow” colorway mentioned in previous leaks.

The device also boasts an IP48 rating, indicating it can withstand short periods underwater but is still susceptible to fine dust particles. Samsung’s latest leak comes ahead of its expected launch at Unpacked next week, where more details about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 are likely to be revealed alongside the new Z Flip 7 and possibly a trifold Galaxy phone.
