Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Leaks Revealed: Ultra-Thin Design

Samsung may have found its answer to Oppo’s Find N5, with new leaks suggesting the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be fractionally thicker than the world’s thinnest foldable. Renders created by OnLeaks based on leaked information show that the phone will be just 4.5mm thick when open, making it nearly as thin as the current record-holder, Oppo’s Find N5.

The new design appears to put Samsung in competition with global leaders such as Google and OnePlus, which have also been working on ultra-thin foldable phones. The Z Fold 7 is expected to boast an 8.2-inch inner screen, a 6.5-inch outer screen, and a massive 4,400mAh battery.

The phone’s dimensions when closed are less clear, but the camera bump protrudes extensively from the body, potentially affecting the overall thickness. Samsung’s next-generation foldable is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and feature a new 200-megapixel main camera.

Expected to launch in July 2025 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7, the Z Fold 7 may have changed plans for a first trifold phone, according to leaker Max Jambor.
