Samsung is preparing to launch three foldable phones at its summer Unpacked event. These include the Galaxy Z Fold 8, the wider Galaxy Z Wide Fold, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8. The charging speeds of these devices are now known.
The third phone, the Galaxy Z Wide Fold, supports 25W fast charging. However, Samsung is also rumored to offer a faster option with its new foldables.
Recently spotted on China’s 3C database, two model numbers suggest that the Galaxy Z Wide Fold and Galaxy Z Fold 8 support up to 45W charging. This is twice as fast as their predecessors.
It’s worth noting that these are wired charging speeds, not wireless. The faster option would bring a significant boost in charging times compared to Samsung’s current offerings.
Pre-orders for the mystery boxes containing these devices have now opened, offering free gifts and discounted shipping costs. Sign-ups are now open, with more information on launch dates and buying details coming soon.
