Samsung’s latest folding phones, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, have reached a new level of refinement. The seventh generation devices offer significant improvements over their predecessors, including thinner frames, larger screens, and polished designs.
The competition is still fierce, but these Samsung phones are easier to recommend than ever. However, the price difference between the two models remains substantial, with the Fold7 featuring a superior chipset, more durable glass, and a higher-resolution camera.
Despite its smaller screen size, I prefer the Galaxy Z Flip7 for its sleek style and versatility. The phone’s ability to fold up seamlessly and fit into a pocket makes it a convenient option. However, thermal performance is a concern, as the Exynos 2500 chipset inside the Flip7 can heat up quickly, even after short periods of use.
While I haven’t noticed significant differences in performance between the two devices, users should be aware of this potential issue. The good news is that the latest model seems to outperform its predecessor in terms of heat management.
