Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 Launch Date Set for Early July

Samsung is set to launch its latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, in early July. The company will hold an in-person event in New York at the start of the month, as confirmed by a report from South Korean publication The JoongAng.

The leak aligns with previous reports and suggests that the new devices will follow a similar launch date to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, which were announced on July 10. The new foldables are also expected to feature Samsung’s tri-fold design.

Rumored specs suggest that both phones will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage. They will also boot up with Samsung’s One UI 8 operating system out of the box.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to boast a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8.2-inch main display, with a slimmer design that measures 4.5mm in its unfolded state. The phone will feature an upgraded 200MP main camera and a 4,400mAh battery with 25W charging.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 is expected to have a larger 4-inch cover screen and a 6.85-inch main panel. It will retain the same cameras as the previous model, including the 50MP main and 12MP ultrawide lenses, and feature a marginally larger 4,174mAh battery with 25W charging.

The upcoming event marks an exciting development for Samsung’s foldable phone lineup, and fans of the series are eagerly anticipating the launch.
