Samsung has finally implemented Qi2 wireless charging on its Galaxy S25 series, though it comes with a caveat. The Qi2 standard adds magnets to devices, allowing them to work seamlessly with chargers and mounts. However, Samsung has messed up this promise by placing theQi coil in a way that blocks existing accessories like wallets from accessing the camera lens.
To solve this issue, Samsung offers official “Magnet Case” options compatible with Qi2. These cases include Qi2-enabled accessories such as a 3-in-1 charging dock that supports a phone charger, Galaxy Watch charger, and a third Qi charger for wireless earbuds or rings. However, third-party cases are also available from Spigen, which might work better if you’re looking to avoid Samsung’s official solutions.
