Samsung May Skip Major Display Upgrade in New Foldables

Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Z Wide Fold, but may not upgrade a key component of its upcoming foldables for a third year in a row. The company’s new models will likely feature displays manufactured by Samsung Display and based on aging M13 organic display material instead of newer M14 technology. This decision could be driven by cost-cutting measures to minimize price increases. While the new displays may lack major upgrades, they are still expected to offer some improvements, including better color accuracy, power efficiency boosts, and nearly crease-free screens.
