Samsung has made a significant breakthrough in smartphone compatibility, allowing its users to share files with iPhone owners using Apple’s AirDrop protocol. Starting Monday, Samsung will roll out this feature on its new Galaxy S26 series, enabling users to send photos, videos, and other files to iOS devices, iPads, and Macs via the Quick Share feature. To enable sharing, users simply need to toggle on the “Share with Apple devices” option in settings, marking a major milestone in bridging the gap between Samsung’s Android-based ecosystem and Apple’s iOS universe.
