Samsung Releases Critical Security Update for Galaxy Phones

Samsung has confirmed a critical security update to protect its Galaxy phones against ongoing attacks. The update includes fixes for six critical Android vulnerabilities and one for Samsung’s own memory issue (CVE-2024-49415). This patch addresses the risk of remote code execution on affected devices.

The release comes shortly after Google’s monthly Android security bulletin, which also addresses various threats and vulnerabilities. Users with Galaxy phones are urged to install the update as soon as possible to ensure their device is secure.

Meanwhile, the rollout of Android 15 (One UI 7) has been delayed, causing frustration among fans. However, a beta release for select S24 devices in certain countries is expected this month. Full stabilization is expected in 2025.

Do not download unauthorized apps claiming an early look at One UI 7 features, as they may pose security risks to your device. Security updates should be obtained from official sources only to maintain the safety of your Galaxy phone.
