Samsung has restarted the rollout of its long-awaited One UI 7 update to Galaxy users, following a six-month delay. The update, based on Android 15, was first released in Korea and is expected to expand to other countries soon.
The new build includes several features that were missing from the previous version, such as a charging animation and music player support in the Now Bar. Users who had already installed One UI 7 may receive this updated version, even if they’ve previously installed the original update.
While there’s no word on when the rollout will resume for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 devices, those are likely to receive the update soon. Samsung also plans to continue the rollout to older devices starting in May, according to a recently posted schedule.
