Samsung has started rolling out One UI 7, a new software update that includes Android 15, to select phones. The rollout began on April 7 and is expected to reach the US on April 10, although other countries may face delays.
The update is available on flagship models released in 2024, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra, S24 Plus, S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6. Additionally, devices like the Galaxy S21, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and A23 are also included in the rollout.
However, not all phones will receive the update immediately, as Samsung has stated that compatibility with tablets and some other models is limited. The company has confirmed it will support devices from the Galaxy F05, M05 series and select tablets.
Users of compatible phones can expect various benefits, including AI features, improved performance, and new customization options like the Now Bar on the lock screen. However, not all Android 15 upgrades may be available due to hardware limitations.
To check if your phone is eligible for the update, look for a notification or visit the Settings app and tap Software Update.
