The highly anticipated Samsung Unpacked event has confirmed its release date, set for January 22, 2025. Industry tipster Evan Blass has shared an Italian poster for the event, which reveals several details about the upcoming phones.
According to the poster, four new smartphones will be showcased: the Galaxy S25 Slim, Ultra, and two additional models. The slim phone was previously unknown but is now confirmed to be part of the lineup. Its release date is expected to be later in 2025, with a possible announcement on January 22.
The poster also shows rounded edges on all four phones, which is consistent with previous reports about the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s design change from sharp edges to rounded corners. The arrangement of the phones on the poster represents the Galaxy AI logo, suggesting that AI will be a major focus at the event.
Notably, Samsung has revamped Bixby as an Large Language Model (LLM) AI and seems to have beaten Apple in terms of AI features promised. The S25 Ultra is expected to draw attention with its Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 16 GB of RAM.
