Samsung has launched its next-gen 9100 PRO Gen5 SSDs, featuring impressive speeds of up to 14,800 MB/s and capacities up to 8 TB. The PCIe 5.0 interface delivers industry-leading performance, improved power efficiency, and expanded storage capacity.
The 9100 PRO supports PCIe 5.0 x 4, resulting in double the speed of PCIe 4.0. It boasts sequential read/write speeds of up to 14,800 MB/s and 13,400 MB/s, respectively. Random read/write speeds reach up to 2,200K and 2,600K IOPS.
The new SSD is 49% more power-efficient than its predecessor, using less power than ever before. It also offers an 8TB capacity, ideal for gaming, professional photo/video editing, generating AI content, and more.
All models come with a heatsink version for added thermal control. Samsung Magician Software streamlines migration, protects data, and optimizes SSD performance. The 9100 PRO will be available starting this March in various capacities at Samsung.com and select retailers.
