Samsung Unveils Affordable Galaxy A Series Smartphones for 2025

Samsung has kicked off budget phone season by unveiling its crop of affordable smartphones for 2025. The company introduced three new devices, the Galaxy A36 5G, Galaxy A26 5G, and Galaxy A56 5G, which offer impressive features at competitive prices.

The flagship Galaxy A36 5G starts at $400, while the more budget-friendly Galaxy A26 5G begins at $300. Rivaling Motorola’s new Moto G Power 2025, these devices are designed to provide excellent value for users on a tight budget.

What sets Samsung’s latest offerings apart is their extensive software support. The Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A26 5G will receive 6 years of updates, a significant improvement from the previous 4 Android OS updates and 5 years of security updates.

The new devices also boast improved camera capabilities, including a larger vapor chamber cooling system for better heat dissipation during intense processing activities like gaming. Samsung’s AI upgrades include enhanced Circle to Search and an upgraded Object Eraser feature.

These affordable smartphones will be available in the US starting March 26, with the Galaxy A56 5G arriving later this year. With Apple exiting the sub-$500 market with its iPhone 16e, Samsung is poised to fill the void and attract price-conscious consumers.
