Samsung Unveils AI-Powered One UI 7 Beta Program with Enhanced Mobile Experience

Samsung Electronics has launched its One UI 7 beta program, showcasing a glimpse of the future of mobile AI. The new update aims to offer an AI-first platform for intuitive controls, enabling personalized mobile experiences like never before.

One UI 7 boasts powerful AI features, simplified controls, and a preview of scalable AI ecosystems. It integrates leading AI agents and multimodal capabilities into every touch point of the interface, creating a natural and intuitive experience. The beta program offers a first look at an upgraded mobile user experience for greater personalization than ever before.

Key features include advanced writing assist tools that allow users to boost productivity, summarize content, check spelling and grammar, and automatically format notes into bullet points. Upgraded call features with One UI 7 provide seamless communication through call transcripts in 20 languages.

The new design is centered around a notification system called Now Bar, which streamlines communication from the device’s lock screen. It includes instant access to important notifications, reducing the need to constantly unlock the device and allowing users to engage with key information effortlessly.

One UI 7 also features a simplified home screen, redesigned One UI widgets, and a lock screen that grants users granular control over every detail. The camera UX has been revamped for more intuitive control over advanced settings, including simplified manual settings layouts for Pro and Pro video modes.

The official One UI 7 release is set to begin with upcoming Galaxy S series devices in the first quarter of 2025, followed by a gradual rollout to other Galaxy devices. The beta program will be available for Galaxy S24 series users in select markets starting December 5.
