Samsung has officially detailed the Galaxy A56, which is set to expand to the US “later this year.” The device boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ display and a 5,000mAh battery. It’s powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset and comes with varying amounts of RAM (6GB-12GB) depending on the model.
The Galaxy A56 features IP67 dust/water resistance, Android 15 with six years of updates, and One UI 7 out of the box. Its cameras are among the best in its class, with a 50MP main rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro lens.
In Ireland, Samsung lists the Galaxy A56 for sale at €559.00 (with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage), €100 more than the US version of the Galaxy A36 ($399). The device comes with a free Galaxy Fit 3 and fast charger.
The Galaxy A56 is available in four colors: “Awesome Lightgrey,” “Awesome Olive,” “Awesome Pink,” and “Awesome Graphite.” Samsung previously announced that it would launch the device in the US later this year, starting at $499.99.
