Samsung Unveils Galaxy Z Flip 7, Foldable Watch, and More at Unpacked Event

Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event is set to take place on July 9 in Brooklyn, NY. The company will showcase its latest and greatest technology, including updated versions of its folding phones, smartwatches, and an advanced XR headset.

According to rumors and leaks, Samsung’s focus is on improving its Galaxy AI, which has been a prominent feature of the company’s smartphones since its debut two years ago. However, the hardware is expected to be the main attraction at this year’s event.

The most highly anticipated device is the Galaxy Z Flip 7, an updated version of Samsung’s foldable phone. Leaked specs suggest that the phone will have a 4.1-inch exterior display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 2,600 nits. It will also feature a tiny bezel and be powered by the Exynos 2500 chip in some markets.

Another device that is expected to make an appearance is the Galaxy Watch 8, which will come in 40mm and 44mm sizes with Wi-Fi-only or LTE-enabled options. The watch is rumored to have an IP68 rating for dust and full water protection, as well as a rotating bezel.

Samsung is also expected to showcase its Project Moohan XR headset, although it’s unclear when the official release date will be announced. Rumors suggest that we’ll receive a deeper preview of the device at this summer’s Unpacked event.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is also expected to be showcased, which features a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, an enhanced armored aluminum frame, and advanced cameras with ceramic glass for increased drop protection.

While exact specs and pricing details are still unknown, Samsung is sure to make some exciting announcements at this year’s Unpacked event.
