Samsung has unveiled two new devices designed to withstand the toughest environments – the Galaxy XCover7 Pro and the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro. These rugged smartphones and tablets are geared towards enterprise users, but anyone can purchase them.
The Galaxy XCover7 Pro features a replaceable battery, programmable keys, and up to 2TB of expandable storage. It also includes AI capabilities like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestion for photos, as well as support for seven years of software and security updates.
In comparison, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro boasts a larger display, enhanced anti-shock protection, and a longer-lasting battery. Its features include a replaceable battery, programmable keys, and support for eight years of software and security updates.
Both devices are designed to withstand sanitizers, have IP68 ratings, and feature Gorilla Glass Victus Plus displays. They also support 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
While prices have not been announced yet, these rugged devices are expected to appeal to enterprise users who require reliable and durable mobile solutions.
