Samsung has announced pricing for its latest TV, The Frame Pro, which boasts improved picture quality and convenient features but comes at a premium price. Available in three sizes – 65-inch ($2,199), 75-inch ($3,199), and 85-inch ($4,299) – the TV’s prices are significantly higher than last year’s model.
The real star of The Frame Pro is its S95F OLED panel, which promises a faster refresh rate of up to 144Hz and improved AI-powered upscaling. The new TV also comes with a Wireless One Connect Box, allowing for cable-free viewing experience except for power. Samsung offers customizable bezels to help the TV blend in with other decor.
However, some critics remain skeptical about the “Mini LED” technology, which uses a different arrangement of small LEDs behind the screen. Instead, Samsung’s new panel features its Mini LEDs at the bottom of the display and fires them upward.
But it’s the S95F OLED that delivers phenomenal picture quality, with improved brightness and glare-free treatment. The TV can also game at up to 165Hz, although it lacks Dolby Vision. Pricing for the S95F OLED lineup is competitive, closely aligning with last year’s prices, and a larger 83-inch option is coming soon.
Overall, The Frame Pro offers improved picture quality, convenient features, but comes at a higher price point than its predecessor.
