Samsung has officially opened its pre-Consumer Electronics Show (CES) showcase with a focus on its latest Visual Display Business strategy, known as Samsung Vision AI. The company aims to revolutionize the smart TV experience by integrating AI into its products, making them interactive, intelligent, and adaptable to user needs.
President SW Yong emphasized that Samsung sees TVs not just as passive devices but as partners that can simplify users’ lives through personalized experiences. The “three As” – Aware, Adaptive, and Autonomous – will be the guiding principles for Vision AI, which aims to provide real-time information, adapt to user preferences, and deliver intuitive features.
Key examples of what Vision AI can deliver on Samsung’s 2025 products include:
* Click to Search, providing instant information about what’s playing on TV
* Live Translate, offering real-time subtitle translations
* Generative Wallpaper, creating personalized art for the screen
* Home Insights, providing real-time updates on household environment and safety alerts
Samsung Vision AI also expands its SmartThings networked product ecosystem into TVs, enabling features like Pet and Family Care, which monitors well-being and adjusts settings accordingly.
The company’s new TVs will boast on-device picture and sound technologies that use AI to analyze content and room conditions for optimal performance. Microsoft Copilot will be integrated into various Samsung TVs and Smart Monitors, providing seamless searching and access to personalized content recommendations.
Samsung’s Vision AI system will be available on a wide range of 2025 TVs, including Neo QLED, OLED, and basic QLED models. The flagship QN990F 8K Neo QLED TV will feature the latest NQ8 AI Gen 3 processor, delivering powerful picture- and sound-improving AI features.
Other notable announcements include:
