Samsung’s “Blue” Galaxy S25 Ultra Color Looks Unmistakably Gray

Samsung is set to release its latest flagship device, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with an unusual new color option – “blue”. However, according to leaker Ice Universe, this blue shade is more of a pale gray than vibrant blue. This subtle take on the color leaves many wondering if Samsung’s move is a serious attempt or simply a joke.

In contrast, Google has experimented with similar pastel colors in its Pixel series. For example, the Pixel 3 had “Not Pink” and Pixel 3a came in “Purple-ish”. More recently, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 9 Pro have a color called “Hazel”, which is also a gray hue.

If the leaked images of the Galaxy S25 Ultra are reflective of the actual device, Samsung’s subtle blue option would make its pastel colors look vibrant by comparison. The color has been mocked up in an image provided by dbrand, which shows what this unique shade might look like on the phone.

With the Galaxy S25 Ultra set to release on February 7, fans are eagerly awaiting more information about the device’s features and design.
