Samsung has introduced its Call Screening feature as part of One UI 8.5, allowing users to automatically answer and screen calls. The feature uses AI to filter out spam while keeping important calls through.
Here’s how it works: when a call comes in, the device will ask the caller who they are and why they’re calling. A transcript of both parties’ conversation is displayed on the screen, even if you don’t answer the call.
The Call Screening feature isn’t available yet due to software requirements, but Samsung has included a demo within the Tips app. While it’s unclear if this feature will be exclusive to the Galaxy S26 series, the demo’s inclusion suggests it may be available on other devices as well.
