Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 May Not Upgrade Battery Size

Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 is set to launch later this year with significant upgrades, but one major component won’t be changing – the battery size. A new report from Leaker Setsuna Digital reveals that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will retain the same 4,400 mAh battery capacity as its predecessors, including the 2021’s Fold 3.

The upcoming device is expected to feature a thinner design, bigger display, and improved S Pen functionality, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold SE. Samsung is also rumored to be working on an upgraded hinge with a reduced display crease, enhanced cameras, and better water/dust resistance.

However, it appears that Samsung has decided to prioritize size reduction over battery life increase. This decision may have implications for charging speeds, which could remain unchanged compared to previous models. Despite this, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is still expected to be a significant upgrade from its predecessors, offering improved performance and features at an attractive price point.

With Samsung’s next foldables set to launch later this year, fans of the series can look forward to seeing how these upgrades will impact the overall user experience.
