Samsung has introduced its latest stick vac, the Bespoke Jet AI Ultra, with an LCD display that connects to your phone to show incoming calls and texts. The new washer and dryer also feature touchscreens that can be used to answer calls directly on a 7-inch screen.
The company’s “screens everywhere” approach is part of its AI for the home push, aiming to use technology to help daily life. However, critics argue that this could lead to obsolescence and increased costs. Samsung has rolled out this feature across its entire Bespoke AI line, including new smart fridges and wall ovens.
The feature works with Android and iOS devices, requires a Samsung account, and the SmartThings app. It can also put detergent in for you automatically and open the washer door when the cycle is complete. Samsung’s goal is to create a seamless experience between its appliances and smartphones.
