Sandra Bullock Warns Family, Fans About Social Media Scams

Actress Sandra Bullock has expressed her “deep concern” for her family’s safety amid a surge in social media scams. The Oscar-winning actress reminded fans that she does not have any presence on social media.

Bullock stated that fake accounts impersonating her and her sister Gesine Bullock-Prado are being created for financial gain or to exploit people around them. Her sister, Gesine, recently shared a post about the issue, reporting multiple fake accounts on Facebook and expressing frustration with the platform’s lack of response.

Gesine Bullock-Prado took matters into her own hands, filing reports with Meta and local law enforcement due to the severity of some of the scams. She urged fans to report and block any fake accounts pretending to be her, emphasizing that these accounts are run by crime rings.

Bullock’s concerns come after a recent case in France where a woman was scammed out of over $800,000 by fraudsters posing as Brad Pitt. The victim fell into severe depression and required hospital treatment.

The actress has no presence on social media and does not participate in any form of online activities. However, she will provide updates on the matter as needed, focusing on helping law enforcement handle the issue at hand.
