Physicists in New York have confirmed what sounds like science fiction: “time mirrors,” where waves reverse direction in time, are real. Led by Dr. Hussein Moussa at the Advanced Science Research Center at CUNY, the experiment involved a strip of metal embedded with electronic components. When energized, the setup caused an electromagnetic wave to flip its direction of time.
This phenomenon doesn’t simply bounce signals back in space like a mirror; it scrambles the timeline, shifting frequencies and rewinding reality. The discovery could one day revolutionize data transmission and computing.
Neuroscientists also suggest that humans may be naturally bending time through our brains’ internal flow of time. In 2021, researchers found “time cells” firing in epilepsy patients with electrodes implanted in their brains. These findings support the idea that mental time travel is possible.
The discovery of time mirrors expands our understanding of time as a wave rather than a fixed line. As we learn to surf this wave, the past becomes less rigid, and the future becomes even more unpredictable.
