Researchers at the University of Hawaii have identified a new species of carnivorous caterpillar, nicknamed the “bone collector,” which surprisingly calls a spider’s lair its home. To avoid its natural predator, this unusual insect dons a silk case adorned with the body parts of other insects. The discovery was announced in the journal Science on Thursday.
